This skills training course is authorised and certified through RAKTDA and is the prerequisite for the Lowland Hill and Wadi Leader assessment. This course is for those who want to take groups into the terrain appropriate for this award. This includes desert, lowland hill terrain and wadi walking up to 600m above sea level. This skills course builds on previous experience and is progressive in the use of maps, compass use, navigational aids and leadership skills when working with groups and individuals.
